My fishes are looking a little under the weather (not my goldies, they're grand but my tropicals) and I wondered about giving them some medicated food (there is a bit of yawning among the clown loaches) but I can't find anywhere that has it for the UK. I have searched for MediGold and all sorts of things but nada. I know that MediGold is for goldfish or is it? I just presumed gold) but I thought finding somewhere that seems that would be a good starting point.

P.S. I am not sure if this should have been in the tropical forum even though I am asking about goldfish food? Sorry if I got it wrong. Maybe I should put something there too?

I know you can get medi-gold here in the USA. If you need some, I dont mind ordering it off the net and mailing it to you. I know there are some "restrictions" about improting medicated food to the UK, but I could mail it to you and 'sneak' it in!

They sell a terrific medicated food at www.aquaticeco.com that is good for goldies and koi. I am not sure if they can ship it too your location but is always worth a try.

Hey, I've got Medigold (smuggled it in via a kind US friend!) - do you need some in a hurry? Technically it's just for goldies, but I doubt it would hurt your tropicals.

Quite happy to post it to you if you PM me your address.

You can only get medicated food in the UK by

a ) smuggling it in from the US, or

b ) getting an antibiotic from a vet and soaking the food in it.
