Ever since i got my 10 Gallon when I clean it I always find little white worms squirming around and I want to know what kind of worms they are.

It's probably planaria, it's harmless though. I've got some in my tank aswell and the fish eat it sometimes too.

As Gold Ryu said, it probably is planaria. Its usually a sign that you need to vacuum the gravel more persistantly but they wont harm your fish at all.

Or a sign that you are over feeding.. as they pop up to eat left over food

Thank you. But x-Lucy-Fish-x they don't pop up and eat the left over food let alone any food that I can see. I don't see them unless I clean the tank and theres at least a thousand of them.

yea, when the left over food falls into the gravel and starts to decompose they eat it there, that probably why you see them in the gravel

oh well I never thought of that.
since fish eat them is it possible that some of the worms have a disease

Probably not if they were grown in your tank, unless your aquarium seriously looks and smells like a sewer

Just feed a little less and do more frequent waterchanges.
