I know what it is but thought it would be fun if you guys could figure it out. He is very tiny, compair him to the rubberlip on the rock below him. Sorry for the quality, again, very small fish.

It looks to me like a type of minnow, but what kind eludes me at the moment. Possibly a Common Shiner?
Yeah, thats my vote, a Common Shiner Minnow.

To me, it looks like a baby of sorts, not a full size fish. I'm going to take a guess and say it's one of your Natural Habitat fish, now I just have to figure out which one..... post-4056-1113060392.gif Minnows,Darter's,Sunfish,Oh my....
Is that full size,or is that a juvi? laugh.gif

LOL, he is a native fish and only a very small individual. They grow much larger.

Native-I couldn't think of that word! Lack of sleep! So this little fry gets much bigger, huh? and now I guess I have to look up Native fish of New York.....Man,you're making us work pretty hard here. laugh.gif
Going to guess and say Sunfish. If I recall, didn't you have another thread with a Pumpkinseed Fish in it? Aren't they in the Sunfish family? When you google local fish-they don't show Juvi's,Not fair! laugh.gif
