Since this question has come up frequently lately, I just plop that right here.

There are two stores that have great medication for Canadians. One is http://mops.ca/ , which is equivalent to the US store Petsolutions.com and such. Although I haven't seen Maracyn/Maracyn II at Mops, but they have other great meds like Triple Sulfa to substitute for the Maracyns. They also carry the antibacteria food from Jungle.

The other, more important, one is http://www.fishsempai.com, and Andrew sells Goldfishconnetion's Metromed and Medigold. He works with Rick to supply Canadians with the medicated foods, and some other stuff that Rick has, like Progold. Andrew is great to work with, and does overnight shipping. thumbsup.gif

Great post with valuable information! I have ordered from both of these sources many times and I can vouch for their great service.

MediGold is available from MOPS, along with ProGold. You can find these products under Goldfish Connection food. He also sells Maracyn II, but you are right, I don't see Maracyn listed, although their are substitutions, as you mentioned.

Thanks for your great post!

Just thought I'd chime in since I found another store...You can check out his site or visit him at his location.

They ship as well as have a store you can visit. The owner Randall is a really nice guy and spent a good time just chatting to me about fish keeping in general even though I didn't buy anything. (like that'll last long) Why I really liked him immediately is he asked me if I knew what a Nitrogen Cycle was. smile.gif He's a real fish person rather then someone who just sells fish, if that makes sense.

They do scrapings, on site visits, cary meds sych as Bifuran, Tricide-Neo PP and a bunch of other stuff I was ogling his entire store. wink.gif

He sells both Koi and Goldies as well, he also houses pond fish over the winter. I have to start saving my pennies for a pond now. smile.gif

I told him about the site and maybe we'll see him floating around in the near future.
