I orderd my 15 W Aqua UV unit, the Mag2 pump and the flow regulator valve for a new setup on my 58 OCeanic tank.

I can't wait until it arrives. I ordered a new lamp for my Corallife 6X Turbo Twist UV and it will be moved to another tank - to support a fish that is having difficulties healing a nasty wound.

Thank you to all who helped me by finding the proper components for the system.

Yay for new fish stuff! I want pictures when you get everything set up...in fact I want pictures of all your zillion tanks...have you ever done that? LOL, you probably don't have time with all your fish and some of us "high maintenance" Koko's members...*cough* laugh.gif

My tanks tend to be minimalist containers for the fish. I like the fish - and do not mess too much with deco..... I also tend to change tanks often. What was in one tank may not be in a few days. So if I take a picture of a tank - it is not the same the week later. Fish are moved according to needs and ease of care, etc.

I have a tank that runs nothing but a fishless cycle at all times, so I can pull clean, cycled media as I need it, boil and drop media back in as I change tanks around.

So, no - I rarely take pictures of my tanks - and not too often of my fish. My pictures are usually of less quality that others I see here, and I HATE not doing justice to the beauty of the fish.

Maybe I will try to do so, sometime in the future, ok?

P.S. - I do NOT have a "zillion tanks" though! rofl3.gif rolleyes.gif I have...... uh.....8 running right now and 4 sitting empty..... yeah.gif

Congrats on the new toy, daryl!! That's the same UV I've got on my tank and so far I just love it. I needed a little assistance from my hubby to get the thing mounted and set up but he likes to tinker with that kind of stuff. But, anyway, it's a great unit.

"Only" 8 tanks, huh? Wow that's a lot of work and a lot of fun!!

And we'd love to see your tanks, whatever quality the pics are. It's always fun seeing other members tanks. Is that Rocky you're still having trouble with? The PP baths didn't take care of his problems? unsure.gif

Again, congrats on the new UV!

Actually, it is Kermit, my froghead. He had a fingernail driven into his side a bit back - he is a fighter. I did not think it was any big deal, but I have not been able to cure the injury - it keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger.

I am working on various meds, but think a UV would also go a nice ways to helping out, also.

Rocky, on the other hand, has literally been there and back. My final attempt at clearing him of his "creeping crud" has been PRazi, over and over and over and over and over and over and over.....

Tub to tub, Prazi, tub to tub, Prazi, etc.

So far, I have kept him almost 5 weeks without an outbreak of crud. I am hoping that perhaps I am truly conquering it rather than simply putting it into remission.....

Time will tell. He, too, has a UV, but because he is in a 30 gallon tank - he has a smaller UV unit.

I wish the packages would get here - but with the coming holiday weekend, I probably won't see them 'till next week.

Only 8 tanks? biggrin.gif

And Daryl, your pictures could not possibly be worse than the ones I take with my cell phone and am constantly spamming the board with! I have no deco in my tank either, since I want my fish to have as much swimming room as possible. But I would still love to see your tanks and your fish! heartpump.gif
