Guys..does anyone have one of these filters? I added it to my 46 gallon tank (I already have TWO Penguin 200s) but I wanted to up the gph in my filtration..but this little Penguin seems SO noisy!

I have one one my 10 gal and its very quiet! Maybe try taking the intake system apart and rinsing everything off real good and put it back firmly so everything is snug and turn back on.

Email this guy at Marineland telling him your problems and he will send you the parts that you need for free on express shipment. My intake tube came with a hole in it and they sent me a new tube, impeller, and impeller housing for free on express shipment. I had a conversation with him for 2 weeks.

Your welcome. If you still don't like it, get a Whisper 30 (145gph) or a Whisper 40 (210gph). I personally prefer Whisper over Penguin but others disagree. They are much more quieter even on low water levels and Whisper pumps the same if the strainer is in 1/4 inch of water as it would if the tank is full. I really can't say that for Penguins. Nor AquaClears.
