Well I'm getting ready to breed my bettas and while buying brine shrimp eggs 2 weeks ago I noticed liquid fry food. Went back and bought it for fun today. The brand is Wardley and says its for Livebearers and Egglayers.

Feeding Instructions:Shake the tube well before dispencing, lift and peel liner. For small hatch of fry(3-10), feed several drops of Wardley Premium Small Fry at least three times daily.

Guaranteed Analysis: Crude Protein - min. 6.0%. Crude Fat -min. 3.5%. Crude Fiber - max. 0.4%. Moisture - max. 88.0%

Ingredients: Water, Egg Product, Yeast Extract, Citric Acid, Freeze-Dried Calanoid Copepods, Sodium Benzoate(A Peservative), Vitamin A Palmitate, Gum Tragacanth,Potassium Sorbate(A Peservative), Disodium EDTA, Natural & Artificial Flavor.

Opened it and looked at the stuff. It looks like watery gravey. Smells like fish bate.

Has anyone ever used it or something similar? Got any clue what "animals" may be in it since it says egg product? I don't think its brine shrimp because I see none and I don't think they would live that long.

Moisture 88% meaning 88% water laugh.gif

No need to waste more money on it, mate. Ur fry won't even touch it. Their instincts are to chase & eat moving objects that can fit in their mouths.

I still try it out. If they like it I'll use it as back up in case I run out of brine shrimp and infusoria. There is no way I'm going to waste more money on it, even if they do eat it. Nothing is better than live food.

Hopefully the fry won't be to picky, like some.
