Hi my name is sarah, I have had few fish over the years and have recently decided to start up a tank again.
I currently have a ten gallon tank I would like a bigger one, but due to the lack of space in my room i cant get one. So any ways I have been reading up on fish care since its been a few years since my last fish and I have found that I may have been over crowding the tank just a little! Since I havent got any fish yet I was wondering what to do know since I dont want to over crowed the fish and I dont want my fish to be lonley in there by him self could I put a few smaller fish in there with him or snail of somthing or maby another small goldfish what do you recomend.

With only a 10 gallon tank you really wouldn't have room for anything else to go in with your goldie. If you really want more than one fish you might consider going tropical, you can keep several fish that way But if your heart is set on a goldie most golds will do fine all by themselves

Keep in mind though that 10 gals is the minimum as your goldie get bigger he/she will NEED more space than a 10 gallon, even a 30 gallon is to0 small for a full grown goldie that hasn't been stunted and has good genes

i dont know anything about tropical fish so im scared i might accidently kill them all and i dont have the funds to buy more equipment for a tropical tank right know

Do you have any recomendations for other fresh water fish i could put in there since my hearts kinda set on owning fish right now

Tropicals arent hard at all. All you need different from freshwater is a heater for the tank.

Whoo Guppies!!!!! I love guppies but goldies are my favorite!

i might try the guppies , that or bettas 10 gallons will be nice and roomie for them

You could even put a divider down the center and have two!

Betta!!! Get a good quality betta (or any betta that got ur heart) and he'll be in heaven in that 10-gal

ya i think i will go for the betta i just have to cycle the tank first
