It's uni holidays and I got lots of free time, so made this little 8-inch long HMPK glass deco. I think the colour is Thai flag

Cheers guys. I'm planning to make more, but smaller and more finnage variations. Will post pics when they're done.
Kissy, I made it using glass deco. The whole process including drying is about 30 hours

OOOH! Pretty! You did an awesome job. Can you do one in blue? I'd love to see you do a blue one with a long flowy tail.

Love it! It looks way bigger than 8 inches long. Is it directly on the glass or can you remove it?

Sorry, but I don't know what glass deco is. Are they those glass frames you buy at the store and paint yourself?

it's beautiful! i've seen some others making them too on other sites, but yours is prettier and more detailed
i'm not sure if i'm right kissy, but i remember from watching craft stuff on tv. there is this stuff you can buy to make your own stained glass. the black comes in a liquid that you used to make your lines on wax paper, i think, then after they dry you can put them on the glass, then you get the colors to paint inside.

yep yep it comes in liquid from that u draw on transparent plastic. The black lining dries in about 2 hours, and the colours dries in about 24 hours. Great stuff

I make them just for fun, no intention of selling

So do you cut the glass into the shape you want?
d_golem
Jun 21 2006, 08:10 PM
It's not glass

but like a peelable plastic/rubber that u can adhere to any smooth surface.

Wow I must be really dumb today, but I'm having a hard time understanding the concept. I did some research (don't laugh at me!) and I think I get it now. You decorate glass with them by creating them and sticking them on when they are done! Right? Please say I'm at least close...

Jun 21 2006, 08:28 PM
Yep, very close
Firstly draw the black outline on a piece of transparent foil sheet, then wait 2 hours till it dries & harden before u apply the colours, then u wait another 24 hours before u can peel it off the foil sheet and stick it anywhere u like
