I have fluval spray bar kits in both my big tanks. The one in my 30g is attached to a fluval 3plus.In the 50g its attached to a fluval 4plus.
The one in the 30g happily creates a bubblewall. However the one in the 50g isn't as effective yet its attached to a more powerfull filter.Ended up attaching external air pump to the fluval to get same effect as in 30g.
Anyone else got or tried their spray bar kits and ended up with similer results?

Wouldn't recommend attaching these kits to fluval 1 or 2plus as they are barely effective unless you add an external air pump. Not possible with fluval 1plus however.

Before I got my external filter I have used a spray bar with a Fluval 3 plus before and it worked well.

It is possible to use a spray bar with a 1 plus though, as there are some people on here who do that with their Bettra tanks where a slow trickle is desirable, but I agree it probably wouldn't be suitable on a 1 plus for a goldie tank - unless it was as a secondray filter and a a slow trickle didn't matter so much smile.gif
