Anyone else have any experience with them?? I just bought one about 2 weeks ago now. Looks great!! But dang are they ever hard to clean and maintain the decor!! It comes up to my chin when I stand beside it! Anyone tips on maintaining them?? Last resort I guess is a good solid chair to stand on. tongue.gif Pics will come! I am just looking for a tall peice of decor to balance out the hight.

I have an ornamental hex tank for the living room area which is about the same height and is hard to clean however, a few things help.

1) Magnetic algae cleaners for the sides, get a floating one because it will drop
2) step stool
3) extended length grabber tool
4) Extra long gravel agitator

My 55 gallon is almost over my head when I stand in front of it! Its a pain. I have to get up on a stepping stool and still cant reach the floor. Good luck and let me know if you find something that works! smile.gif

I have a 56 gallon corner tank and yes, I need a stepstool to service it. For general serviceing, cleaning tools with extention handles work well. For equipment adjustments, I have to take the lid off and climb on a chair to get to the back corners.

Make sure you do NOT grab the tank to pull or support yourself. It may fall over!
