can these go together on their own?? i was going to make the 12 gallon tank tropical, but now im not so sure!! ive been looking at the danios for a while, and they look nice. how many of each should i go for if they can go together?? i am home until wednesday, so im thinking of getting new fish today or tomo. should be fun!!

Danios are very fast fish and need lots of swimming room or they become nippers, so they need a lot more room than your tank. The minnows are fine for your tank and you can easily get 8 to 10 of them for the tank.
