hey, i have a lil common/comet goldfish and i just noticed that his right pectoral fin has like a red swelling where the fin connects to the body. i have no idead what this is and i noticed that the fin also has a lil nip on it, but it doesn't look like finrot (it's a round small nip, not a raggedy torn look) if n e one knows what this is, please tell me so i can fix this.... i just noticed that he is missing a few scales just now

hi, I had a goldfish who developed a swollen red fin with a red bump sticking out. It looked painful. I treated him with junglelabs fungus clear tank buddies and it went away after one treatment. But i would first check the water for ammonia, nitrite, nitrates, ph, etc.
