One of my little albino tiger barbs (~3/4" long) has been in QT for two days now. The others have picked at him and had his little tail almost eaten clean off. I put him in a little container that holds about 3/4 gallon and do full daily water changes. I have about .5 ml Melafix in there to prevent any kind of infections and to help the fins regrow. He is eating a little bit and he looks beter and better every day. Any other tips to help out poor little Radar?

Other than just keeping his water absolutely pristene it sounds like you're doing okay.Just keep an eye out on any odd behavior, symptom's etc. Sometimes secondary infections may pop up.

Well, we are nearing three weeks in the sick tank and Radar is doing well. I can see that his tail is growing back very nicely and he is even growing a bit. I can see the rays starting to re-form and he is swimming much easier now. He has been off the Melafix for about almost two weeks now and still gets his water cleaned daily.

That is good news! I'm glad he is recovering from his tail injury! Good job on getting him well.

Good to hear that everyone is back together, although you may have created a "little moster" with the now spoiled Radar!
