went missing a couple of days ago and I just figured that something (ferrel cat) had gotten it. My waterflow seemed really slow so I went to check my pump and he was caught in the pump. He was still alive but only had one fin left. I had though about checking the pump and then figured he wasn't small enough to get into the pump area (I have it meshed off). Well he did and now he probably won't live. I just found my Lionhead dead yesterday so it hasn't been a very good weekend.

I'm so sorry you lost your lionhead.I really hope your Ryunkin recovers.

oh that's horrible. It's not your fault, accidents happen. I'm not sure how you can resolve the problem with the pump but hopefully you'll figure a way out that the fish can't get to it?

Sorry about the lose, the Ryunkin is gonna need LOTS of TLC not sure if it can make it from what you've discribed either. It's worth a shot. I hope he's got a lot of will to survive for you.

Thanks Scott. I've got the pump separated (or so I thought). I've got it hooked to a milk crate. The there is mesh hooked all over the crate it and then it is held down with a plant. I have no idea how the fish got into the crate to get that close to the pump. He's not looking too good. I did take him out of the pond and have put him by himself with some medication. I don't want the other fish botherin him.

Well, he didn't make it. I found him dead this morning. It was probably for the best but I still feel terrible.
