hi,
well i cant get any ct bettas in my local pet shops as they say that they cant get people to but them but i found a place in another town but dose any one know how much it would cost me . i live in the uk so it would have to be in pounds

Depends on the quality of the fish hayden. You can expect to pay up to £10+ for a quality betta.
www.kgbettas.co.uk has some tank bred orange crowntails i think for £5.50 but postage for one is £6.
So go see the ones in the other town and see how much they are. If less than £10 buy one you like and is healthy with full fins, no bitten ones. If you put your finger to the glass it should be interested and maybe even flare. If its stressed it will be clamped and hiding.

thanks for you advise

I actually got my current CT at wally world. I grabbed him because I KNEW that he was accidentally put with the VT's so he's at my house now and he only cost me $3!

Lucky find Ashley!! I always look at the wallyworld bettas. If I find one that I just love it's no biggie, I always have room for more bettas. biggrin.gif

Anyone in Melbourne Australia can have some top quality CT bettas from me for $5 each at the moment! I have too many babies!

I don't know how fish are priced over there in England but crown tails are more expensive here in the states. I had one from petco here that Cost around $8. I think the normal veil tail ones there only cost $4
Peanuts
In my fav local fish store they only have vt's and they cost £3.75. but another LFS near me sells only CT's and they where only £4.45. so in the Nottingham area there isn't much difference.

hope that helps
