My goodness! That is gorgeous! How big is that tank? He must be in heaven!
One thing I didn't notice though - did you have a lid or cover on that?

Well, your Betta seems to look rather happy in those pics.I like the fact that you have live plants in there with him. He's a lovely color too.
I agree about some sort of lid too ,you know,as Betta's are rather notorious for jumping. I'd rather see you on the safe-not sorry side.

I love the setup! You have a very beautiful betta in a very beautiful little home there. I too would love to hear some tank specs (tank size, filter type/size, etc.) because I am toying with idea for a 5 1/2 gallon tank for Horatio. I have everything picked out and such, but I would love to see what everyone else has, too.

its about 3 gallons i think, im not to sure. it doesnt have a cover...maybe i should put some placstic wrap stuff over the top untill i can find something better

A good cheap way to cover the tank is to go to a craft store and get a sheet of the plastic screen material that is used for cross stitching. You can just lay that over the top.
I'm not really sure how I feel about the plastic wrap....

I would not use anything as a cover that will prevent fresh air from getting into the tank. The betta will breath air from the surface of the water, so he will need plenty of air exchange.

would the plastic mesh stuff let enough light through for the plants? and if i did use plactis wrap it would be over the whole top, there would be gaps around the filter and light...so air would still be able to get in
