I had some lady email me back on my "Pond plant" request, and this is what she said...

I have pond plants purple iris,umbrella plant,pickerel white,horsetail
grass, sweet flag grass .I want a dollar a start. You can contact me at

Are all these ok for fish? Meaning, they're not poisonous or anything.

Do you want plants for in the pond as those are sounding like they go around the pond and like their feet to be soggy.
Erika
Ew. Yeah, I want stuff that goes IN the pond, not around it.

As far as I know, those are okay in about 6" of water or so. They can go in your pond, but in shallow areas.
Not sure about the flag grass or the umbrella plant though - but the others are marginals and will be fine IN the water as long as they aren't submerged too deep.

I've had most of those in my pond at one time or another. They are okay to be around fish. They are more like bog plants though, but they should be okay. A dollar a start is a good price.

My favorite bog plant is the salmon pink cana. I also like the black taro.
