These plants look similar in shape enough to an onion plant (which we all know works just fine for goldies) However, I would be prepared that they might eat it. This is really the only concern with goldfish in a planted tank. They are voracious vegetarians. Also, each fish is different. I've found mine will eat pretty much any leafy matter put in with them in a matter of minutes.

thanks for that! i'll give them a go, i've never had any live plants before and wanted to try introducing some to my tank, i find that my local fish stores always have a poor selection so i thought i'd give ebay a go as at least you know the names of the plants you are buying!

theylle be fine only problem is the ut goldies really like it it wont last long
