I've had a pond for the past 3 years and everybody is very happy in it. We have comets and a few fancies, a toad and some frog eggs. Yesterday I came across some eggs I didn't recognize and came here to find out what they were... I still have no idea. They look like tiny specs of rice on the sides of my planters. Any ideas?? I know I have baby fish because each spring there are new ones in the pond. But this year, I spotted some eggs, so I think I'm going to try and put them in a smaller tank to raise them. My kids would get a kick out of it.

I am not sure what that would be–they are white and elongated like rice grains? Koi and goldfish eggs are clear-yellow with a dot in the middle, and very tiny. I am not sure what these are but hopefully someone else might. My first thought is that they are leeches or flatworms of some kind.
