I just found out from my mom that my brother in law offered to dig our pond and do landscaping and everything! He had a huge pond when I was younger but had to fill it in when they moved because the new owners didn't want it . We've got to buy all the materials but hes going to put it together for us, all hes asking for is our old small pond in return. He wants to put his son's baby turtle in it, it would really be perfect for a turtle, its got these little ledges about 8 inches from the top so the turtle could sun itself but not escape. It about 70 gallons when it filled to that point so it would be good for "Denny" for a while (hes only about 2 inches long), and Denny is native to Michigan so it wouldn't be a huge deal if he did escape (well, it would be to my nephew )

I'm so excited! Its actually happening. I'll have to post pics when its done. I'm not sure exactly when this is happening but I'll definatly keep you guys posted
