I need to learn to control the numbers, i want them there as its sand substrate and they keep it turned for me.. and they are really cute laugh.gif
The 4th big one down in the pic is the mother, grandmother, great grandmother etc. of every single snail there! Thud.gif He/she came in the bag with a bristlenose plec i bought nearly a year ago, i plopped her in a rubbish thing on the windowsil one day with plant trimmings.. and found her and seven more alive about 6 months later (i didnt bother cleaning the thingy for ages) so in they went to stirr my sand, for ages whenever i counted there were only 8 and i was thinking "whats wrong with them, why arent they breeding.. maybe i need more" then one day there were hundreds! ..phew that was quite a ramble.. i'll shut up.

ROFL!! When I took down my 55 last year, I could not believe how many there were in that tank. I swear there were more snails than gravel, no joke. I took them back to our store and put them int he plant tank. Customers always wanted them and were thrilled when we'd throw some in for free! smile.gif
Devs
blink.gif You just keep them over in the UK Lucy because we have enough of them over here. rofl3.gif
It's funny because when I only kept them in my Apple Snail tanks, they multiplied, but it seemed like a slower rate.I put them in a couple of Trop Tanks that now have sand substrate and the little Bugger's have Quadrupled in no time! yikes.gif Thud.gif
