hi,
my male goldfish started to chase my female goldfish who is bloated with eggs around about 2 weeks ago but had no breeding tubercles on his fins and gills but i looked at him yeasturday and saw them all over his fins and a few on his gills but there isn't any eggs yet is this a normal time span for breeding and when the fry do come what should i feed them?

and the female is new to the tank only been in 3 weeks newfish.gif

plz im confused if anyone knows what i should do or just let nature take its course plz just let me know

blink.gif I wish I was able to answer your question for you. I am sure that a more experienced breeder will answer your question soon. In the meantime I would suggest looking at this sites info on breeding! From that article it appears that your fish is exhibiting normal behavior! Good luck with the babies!

first bits is what you feed them.. and just wait till the babies are born.

heating the water will help her to lay them faster if you want

i feed them scuba fish pellets food and also fish flakes
