I have been trying to find a stroger light for my 20gal tank for a while now. I have yet to find one with 1.5 Watts per gal. or more. I was wondering what else i could do to get more lighting to my tank.

Thanks for the help in advance!

A one bulb 24" long 65 watt power compact fluorescent fixture would give you over 3 watts per gallon.

You can check them out here.

What are the dimensions of your 20 gallon tank? Why do you need an 18" long fixture, even a 20 gallon high is 20" long?

Here's a link to a 96 watt 20" long power compact fluorescent fixture.
