Nice job on the whole project. As a professional landscaper, it's always
interesting to see how people decorate on their own. noel.gif

Thanks Paul, as you would appreciate it was a lot of hard work and busy weekends! Not to mention a strain on the budget! But we LOVE it.

Flipper
$650 for pond rubber
$700 for pump and filter and accessories
$300 for rocks - were given all of the large rocks
$200 for plants
$350 for g/fs and koi
$280 for fake rock waterfall

porch cost $30 for wood and a six pack of beer for the corrugated iron roof

Your lucky!!! I think your pond is absolutely beautiful! I can tell alot of relaxing will be done on that porch. I can feel it by just looking at the pictures.

Little late coming into this but your pond is gorgeous! It looks so natural, like you happened to build your house by a stream and a pond! How many gallons is it?
Flipper
Thanks JSRTIST. Im in Australia and we dont use gallons and I have absolutely no idea how to convert it. I dont have any idea how much water is in it. We just dug a hole, threw some liner in it and filled it up. Unfortunately I didnt realise at the time that there was such an art to ponds and didnt do any research. If i could do it all over the pond would be a lot deeper than it is. A bit worried how the fish will cope over winter and worried the koi pond might be too shallow as well.

We have a 6000 litre per hour pump hooked up so think that is roughly what it measures.
