How long have you had the fish? Have you done anything different? Does the fish look swollen or anything? How big is the one having the problem? What kind of substrate are you using and could your fish have gotten a peice stuck in its mouth?

Sorry for all the questions, it just that theres so many possibilities and the more we know about your situation the more we can help exactly.gif

Welcome to Kokos by the way biggrin.gif

I had three shubukins at one time ( they got too large for the tank I had and now are living happily in my friends goldfish pond at his house) and mine were extremely picky eaters. They did love peas and Frozen Brine shrimp. I think the picky eater thing must be something that shubunkins just do. My organda and fantail are really good eaters like most goldfish and I don't have a problem with them.

I think we also need to know:

How big is the tank?
How many fish are in there and what kinds?
What type of filtration has the tank got?
Do you use any water conditioners/additives, etc?

I am going to move this post to e"Disease and Discussion". Spitting food may be nothing, or it can be a symptom of parasites in a fish. At the top of the page, you will see a series of red boxes - these cover D-Golem's wonderful questions as well as a few others..... if you can answer as many as possible, we can get a good histore on this fish and see if we can help you.
