~ Hey ~ I was wondering if anyone could give me an inexpensive way to get rid of those pest snails?
Thanks!
I have millions and they are taking over my 30 gallon tank! not good!

Oh Dean, I feel for you, I really do!
I am having a nightmare with them too, as are a few others on the board. They are not easy to get rid of at all.
Rather than write out a big long answer to your question, I will give you two links to this topic. One is mine, one is Daryl's. There is lots of advice in both. In the end, you have to choose which method you think is best for you and your tank.
Good luck!

This just goes to show you that sometimes it really is best to listen to the advice of people who have been there,I dealt with those for two years, checking daily, hand picking them off, using PP,and I still see little tiny hatchlings ,and I can't figure it out,

pick them off as you see them, usually they will congregate along the waterline, get the edge of a index card or something like that and lslide it along, picks them all up, and you can give them to a pet store or feed them to bigger fish or something. also, keep an eye out for globs of eggs, they will be clear-yellowy in color , about the diameter of a pencil eraser, and under water. as you see them, pop them off the glass or whatever they are attached to squish them. this nixes the population pretty quickly along with catching the adults too. good luck.

Ugh!! The best way to get rid of them is to never, ever get them in your tank in the first place!! After tehy are in there they are almost impossible to remove.
