One or two of my aponogeton bulbs have sent shoots to the surface with a little bud on it! I'm not sure what type they are...they are green with long and skinny leaves with crimped edges. Its okay that the bud's above the surface, right? Will it be a flower? I've only had these plants for a month so that seems really sudden!
Thanks Touchofsky The first one flowered this morning. Its so delicate and pretty Do I leave the hood open for better air ciruculation?
My tiger lotus sent up a lily pad yesterday too....maybe that will flower! that would really be something.

When my apagothenon(sp?) bulbs flowered I didn't do anything different. I did cut the stalk off after about a week, right at the base of the plant. Dunno if that was good or not, but I did it and the plant seems fine.
