Lol I've just noticed my "newly-matured" (just got his tubercles) 10-month-old 4-inch-long male black ranchu is attracted to my 5 yr-old 7-inch-long female fantail biggrin.gif

She's at LEAST 3 times his mass and it's hilarious seeing him keeping very close to her, nuzzling her, bumping her anal area and she looks only the slightest bit annoyed lol.

Looks like a baby wrestling with sumo wrestler rofl3.gif

Just wanna share that biggrin.gif

I've seen that too and it is cute. Even the smallest males can become annoying, depends how boisterous they are. Some males can be quite docile and others get quite rambuctuous.

One of the males in my 'boisterous boys' tank is a little moor only 1 & 1/2" in body length but evenso he is very persistant when the mood takes him and harrasses the females to the point of exhaustion.

Funny to imagine, Riz! rofl2.gif I bet the little guy isn't one bit discouraged that his girlfriend is so big.. laugh.gif My ryukin Hot Lips turned out to be a girl as well, and she is being courted by a little calico ryukin about 1/4 of her size. Needless to say that Hot Lips doesn't have to try hard to get away - one swap with her big body, and all the little male sees is a big huge tail fin from afar! jtmuch.gif

He's still following her biggrin.gif but now at a safer distance. Still nudges her butt once in a while lol
