I figured I would ask this both here and at the buy sell trade section.

I am trying to turn a cement urn into a water fountain and only need a small piece of left over pond liner to do the job.

I went to the store today but noticed that the liners come only in HUGE sizes for way to much money for what small amount I need--- to top that off, theres no way I'd be able to use the left over liner---I rent an apartment!

I also tried the pool store. I fidured I could get cement pool paint, but that was 90 bucks per gallon!!!!

So does any one have left overs that They would share/sell?

I'll try to figure out how much I need tonight thanks!

Are you going to keep fish in this setup? If not, just buy a small tarp from the sporting goods department at W^l-M^rt and it will do the trick nicely, plus you won't have all that leftover to deal with. I have a small pond outside that I lined with a blue tarp and it looks really nice. I don't know if it's fish safe or not, tho. sad.gif

I thought of tarps, but I figured they'd leak? Or won't they? Eventually it will be placed in my bedroom on carpet.

Oh, I should have mentioned that earlier. No, I won't be having any fish in there, cause it's to small.... Also, It's gonna be filled up with rocks so I can grow moss on the rocks and on the very top of the urn...

I found the urn in my father's woods--it's really neat. The very top of it is broken off so it looks like some urn from a lost world or something.. It'll be awesome when I get it done.

I even tried to SCRUB the inside SUPER clean so I could use aquarium silicone to coat the whole inside (including the drainage hole) but WOW---It just doesn't want to come clean and the silicones instructions says that it has to be clean.

A good think, heavy plastic will work (think landscaping plastic). You can get it in hardware at W^l-M^rt. I wouldn't think a heavy-duty tarp would leak. blink.gif My pond loses water, but I think that's evaporation because it's in full sun almost all the time.
