I am confused - they are both so beautiful...and similair!! i know the bristle grows slightly bigger!! do they go in pairs or groups of 3 or more? wat about singletons?

i already have 3 goldies, 2 weather loaches and 2 hillstream loaches (those flat sucker fish lol)

any more advice on these plecs? i know about size, food, oohh - males are better did they say? or the females?

any ideas? any stories?

Thanks x
Sean

ANyway,Depending on how big your tank is-determines how many. Boys tend to get very cranky when another is near "their space" so in order to have more than one-you need a pretty big tank. They also need a piece of Driftwood as it is needed to aid in their digestion.
What size tank are we talking here? smile.gif

smile.gif I am happy to say that my Bristles are probably only 4 inches max and I like them that way. I have a gazillion babies, and I hope that they all stay "petite". biggrin.gif

I have a 85L tank and 2 vailtails. Is it ok if I put one or two ruppernose placo´s in to the tank or is it two samll? AsI see from the homepage, nubbernose´s don´t get that big! (I prefere females) if they are not to aggressiv!
Oh and btw. I have one big deiftlog in the tank! Maybe I will gwt me one more idont.gif
