Ok as i was testing the water params today i noticed that my ryukins anus looked very very very distended and i wondered if it might be eggbound so i new that if i genntly rubbed her stomach eggs would come out so i did and out came some eggs. So i have since put her in my 30 gal with a male ranchu and begun to raise the temp hoping that they will breed. Do i need to know or do anything else? thanks

Does your female have any other symptoms, like unevenly shaped belly, or being bigger in the belly area in the last week or so?

Raising the tank temperature was good, and I would watch if there is any chasing going on between those two. That is always the easiest and most natural way to help the female with egg problems. If that doesn't help, we can upt it a notch to different things...

I havent noticed anything out of the ordinary she looks the same but i hope that tomorrow there will be some chasing so i could cross and ranchu and ryukin.

ok is there another way i can get the males wanting to mate because its been 2 days with the temp raised and there are still no tubercules on the 2 males
