I am about to order 4-5 baby Apple Snails. Are they a GOOD idea in the tank with goldies? Are there any difficulties in keeping them? What do ya'll think? smile.gif
Devs
I think that if you are allready at ,or over your max of Goldies, then it's not a good idea. They also have to be a certain size in comparison to your Goldies. If they can fit into a Goldfish mouth, they'll become snacks. blink.gif
Snails are almost as messy as Goldfish, need a very good filtration system and a Ph on the higher side.
I'm going to move this to the snail section. wink.gif

Something I've learnt in my few days keeping snails is that the goldfish always try to eat their food. Even small snails put a big bioload on the tank, I'm always throwing food in there.
