Please help,

About 3 months ago, I and my good wife purchased 2 "bubble" gold fish, (as the seller referred to them), but alas, one of them appears to be 'sickening' for something.

It appears to be surface feeding and swimming, something it has not done before, and appears to be swimming with its right hand side uppermost.

I inspected it this morning and found 2 'red' blemishes quite close to its gills, on the right hand side of its head.

Never having had 'exotic' goldfish before, I am unfamiliar with many of the diseases etc that they can get.

Having searched the web for many hours, I cannot seem to find any reference to, or photo of this 'blemish', so I am somewhat at a loss as to what to do next.

The blemishes could be an ulcer of some type? We will have a better idea if you are able to answer as many questions as possible in the red box that you see when you reply. Thanks.
