I have bought some Mopani wood from a reputable supplier for my fish tank, it has been sandblasted and has been in the tank for about a month.

The wood is growing a clear frondy type growth over it.

Is this ok? Should I leave it to grow unchecked or scrub it off when I clean my tank?

I am an inexperienced goldfish owner so any help gratefully recieved
