My poor little goldfish named Benicio got caught in a tank ornament were i put a plant into a normal rock ornament thingie (dun know how to explain what it looks like). Anyways, when I found him, he was wedged inbetween the bottom of the plant inside of the ornament and a hole leading outside of the ornament. I got him out by pulling the bottom of the plant off and pulling the plant out, but as a result, my little guys fins are all ripped up and has a good amount of scales missing from head and side. I see alittle bit of red spots from it at the end of his tail, so I fear it might get worse. Plus, he also is swimming alittle weird. I already set up a hospital tank and put in some 'fungus' cure medicine, you know, just anything that'll help him heal. But, I still dont know what to do to help him more. Is there any type of medicine to help him heal? Any temperature type, or pH type I need to encorperate?

Add some aquarium salt to 0.1%. That is 1 teaspoon per gallon or 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons.
Keep an eye on the water parameters, perfect water quality will help the fish heal faster.

I wouldn't move him from the tank just for that though.
Usually they can heal pretty good with just perfect water and salt.
It is a good idea to post the answers to the questions in the red box above.
