Has anyone ever used those "grow your own bulbs" sold at nnnnnn and Petco? Are they safe to use? Do they also need to me disinfected before being placed in the tank?

i used the apon and lily bulbs from wally world and none of them worked. i used the guarantee on the back and i got fresh ones that worked. my lilys are very nice and the aponos grew large and one of them is starting runners.

I've ordered a pack of those apo bulbs and only got five instead of those 7-10 that they advertise. I started a thread here and found out that the larger bulbs tended to do better and look less stringy so I didn't complain. All the bulbs I see in stores are dinky and shriveled looking and still had only 5 when it looked like they could fit 10 more at least of that same kind. I haven't planted mine yet but I will soon You do not need to sterilize them and I'm pretty sure they are safe.
