Hi i just got teh Aqua clear 70 yesterday and was wondering if i should remove the biomax everything 3 months like the instructions say so, since if carries the benificial bacteria shouldnt i keep it?

Full Version: Aqua Clear Filter Question
The only thing that I don't worry about is the Charcoal.The sponge/Biomax stays and occasionally gets a rinse in tank water when I'm changing it.
I think you'll be pleased with that filter, I have 2 of the same one.
