Which is cheaper? Buying an penguin or emperor filter or buying an aquatech and adding a biowheel and biowheel brackets.( I use cut pieces of straw from the dollar store for bearings.

the emperor is a very high end power filter, but it does the same thing as the penguin. my pengui200 broke and i was lookin to buy an emperor400, but you cant use penguin filter cartridges. so i decided to buy a high end penguin350.
your aquatech w/ a bio wheel works. if it works and it cuts the price down, then go with it.
