I saw these bottles of special hermit crab water at the store. This completely baffled me...it reminds me of when they used to sell betta water Does anyone know whats in this stuff? I don't have any hermies, just curious.

I don't know anything about hermit crabs either, but they are land dwellers aren't they? They only need water to drink, perhaps it has to be salt water, like the sea? Hmmn.

Most Hermit crabs need both actually.Salt water and regular. It's amazing what people come up with and how people will opt to buy it!
There are also Marine Hermit Crabs.Koko has a few in her Saltwater tank.

Its just overpriced water. I think its actually distilled, which is even worse...anything to make a buck, eh?
