These are really pretty figures. In the auction it *says* its ok for a fish tank but I wanted to ask you guys. "She is made of a quality heavy resin made to look like ivory."

Here are the auctions:

Hi Gia, those are really pretty!

It's a difficult one because it doesn't say it's specifically made for aquariums just that it would look nice in one. Not sure about that one...

No real way of finding out unless you get one and try it, they are not too expensive and if turns out not be suitable you could use it somewhere else in your I suppose smile.gif

Hmm I don't know, it would be a shame to buy it and not use it in a tank, but it will be easier to tell when you have it in front of you and you can test it in some water for while. unsure.gif

Sorry, not helping much am I smile.gif

lol If I bought it and couldnt use it in my tank that would be a waste of money cuz where would I put a mermaid? lol. Maybe the bathroom? hmmm.... Maybe someone else will know. lol. That is why I wanted to ask. THey would make a nice tank ornament though, wouldnt they? smile.gif

They should be OK. "Quality heavy resin" is probably a type of plastic, and plastics are fine in an aquarium. But without being able to actually see one... I can't give you a guarantee that they'll be aquarium safe.
