Could you tell me if a blackmoor and a blue oranda would be compatable? The Oranda being the second fish?

thanks

Bak2it
They'll do just fine together.

Would the Blue oranda eat sinking pellets too or would they eat Flakes ?

thanks

They'll both eat the same thing for you.
Just make sure you soak the food for a while before you put it in. smile.gif

For the most part all fancy goldfish should do ok together.

The only exceptions I can see are bubble eyes and celestials do good grouped together because it may take them a little longer to find the food.

Also all single tailed goldfish do well together.

All goldfish can eat the same things, they are the same species. Its like dogs, there and many different breeds of dogs but they can generally eat the same thing.

I have a black moor and blue oranda (among other kinds...ryukins, orandas and moors galore wink.gif ) in my tank. And they are all fine together. They should all be eating sinking foods too. smile.gif
Here's a pic taken a while back of my guys together....looks like they are sharing a secret! laugh.gif

Love the picture jtmuch.gif I wouldnt mind an oranda or a ranchu or lionhead. Dont have the room at the moment. I planning to move my common into my 50 gallon pond, and put my moor and fantail into the 20 gallon tank. I am hoping my dad might buy me a bigger tank for either my birthday.gif or noel.gif or I use the money for a bigger tank.
