Hi Tim, just to let you know, I wouldnt feed them tubifex. Its usually full of parasites that can make your fish sick.

yes, I recently learned that reading through earlilier, so I'll stop
what about that brine shrimp stuff I have seen at a pet store, It didn't say anything about feeding it to goldfish

Brine shrimp is wonderful for goldies.
How big are the fish?

Most of them are around one inch, but two or three of them are a good 2 inches.

I myself would stop feeding flakes and change it with pellets. They're much more substantial meal than flakes

I have heard different opinions about flake and pellet food, but I can't decide what to get.
Like, I've heard that pellet food can lead to swimbladder problems, and flake food can cause constipation. So, what and how much do I feed them?

Soaked pellets won't cause swim bladder problem.
Let's see.....I give my 3-inch fish about 10-20 pellets per feeding per fish.

So, would I give them around 5-7 pellets per fish?
That seems like a little much, would that cause the water to get cloudy a lot quicker?
Or are the pellets really small?
