Hello,
I just purchased a 90 galon tanks for my 4 comets which are currently in a 26 galon tank. The 26 galon tanks has already been cycled (ammonia=0-0.1, nitrite=0, nitrate =10). I currently have 800 galon/hour filtration on the 26 galon tank (aqauclear 500 and 300).
My question is can i just transfer all the water from my old tank to my new tank and add the rest of the water which have been left out for a week in 5 galon pails with a water conditioner added to it. I'll also be using the 2 aquaclear filters i have for the new tank (might need to get one more small filter to compensate for the remaining 100 g/h ) Is this ok.....or will i need to recycle the 90 galon tank again before i put the comets in?.

You can transfer the old filters over to the new tank and they will help seed the new filters quicker. The cycle for the new ones will halve but you will still need to keep checking for ammonia and nitrites but you can add the fish as well with the old filters and some of the old water.

It looks like your two AquaClears are dealing with the waste from your four comets in your 29 GA, so they should be able to handle the filtration needs of the 90 GA for a while.
I agree with you in that you'll probably want to add another filter. I'd suggest a big canister filter loaded up with biological media. One other thing you might want to consider... Get some extension pickup tubes for your AquaClears. The 90 GA tank is probably six inches deeper than the 29 GA and getting the filter tubes down closer to the bottom will help to keep the tank clean.
You shouldn't have any problems with transferring your fish to the new tank. If you're reasonably sure that you don't have any parasites in the 29 GA tank, all you should have to do is: fill the new tank, make sure the temperature and PH match the 29 GA tank and just move the fish and filters to the 90 GA.
Since the nitrate levels in the old tank are just 10ppm, I wouldn't mess with using any of the old tank water. I'd fill the new tank with fresh dechlorinated water. The old water doesn't contain any of the beneficial bacteria, but it could contain some nasties that just aren't currently bothering your fish.
