I have 4 fantails in a 50 gallon tank- the tank is cycled and water parameters are perfect - in the last two days, one of the fish, the largest one, has started to chase two of the fish to the back of the tank behind the plants. The large fish does not chase the smallest fish (fish 4) -

This behavior started after we brought in some new items in the tank. Specifically, we got a large hollow log for the fish to hide in and feel safe in -

This behavior lasts all day until approximately 4pm when it is feeding time, it then stops, all the fish come out and begin swimming and waiting for food. After feeding time, the two fish that get chased still hang out and the large fish does not seem to chase..when I wake up in the morning it starts up again. I AM LOST - any ideas?? HELP

Is the biggest fish male? Does he have breeding spots on his gill covers?
