Irecently baught a used 15 gal tank from a very good aquariumist who recieled it as it was leaking from the corner. It did not have any cracks in it when I brought it home.I disinfected it and was gatting ready to set it up to cycle when I noticed quite a big crack in the middle of the glass in the front . It seems quite deep but not all the way through to the other side.
Is there any possable way to fix the glass, or should I try to get another peice of glass and replce it ?
Please Help.
Thank You.

If it's a crack in the middle of the front glass, I think it's very risky. Better replace the whole glass than having 15 gallons of water on your floor later

Is it a scratch or a crack? When glass cracks, it very rarely doesn't crack all the way through. If it is a crack the tank is not usable and at a minimum that pane of glass would need to be replaced and the entire tank re-sealed. 15 gallon aquariums are so inexpensive ($15-20 US) that you could probably buy a new tank for less money than what a custom cut piece of glass and a tube of aquarium safe silicon sealer would cost.
