Hi, i was out yesterday at bar and they had a tropical fish tank. in it there was an orange fish that seemed to have a tail like a weather loaches, but had the body of a plec. it was able to suck onto the glass and looked to have rough skin.

i took some pics but they didnt turn out, they were hazy, so you cant really see the fish.

i have tried looking up on the net, but i havent found anything.

I was just wondering what this fish might be, any ideas>??

Maybe a gold bristlenose plec? How big was it?

Loz has got a gold algae eater that might be it, hopefully she can show you a pic of hers.

biggrin.gif Why yes,the Bristlenose are.I think that they were both little females.I have seen them "whiter" in color, and I've also seen them the darker oranger color that you mention. My females look a little lighter than normIt may have been the camera. rolleyes.gif laugh.gif
