I just bought aquarium plants from the pet shop. My question is how do i preserve them from dying so they can be used for next days use?

Hi There-
What your saying is that you don't want to put the plants in until tommrow then?
I would at least float them in water overnight, They won't dry up on ya then.
Do you have a tank up and running right now?

Do you have anything like even a rubbermaid container or tupperware you could float them in for the night?
You could take a tupperware container and just put enough water in there to cover the root's of the plants. Just so that they stay damp for the night. I would almost think they would be fine if you just stuck them in baggies with wet paper towels (top open) It's just for the night that shoulden't hurt them at all. (Unless you have kitties that will gnaw at them througout the night) haha.
Hope that helps

tap shouldn't hurt for a short period of time if you don't have too many heavy metals etc, but I'd be on the safe side and add a little dechlorinator if you've got it.
I saw your duplicate post in another forum and was wondering what you meant by wanting to preserve them. I understand now, but in the future, don't make multiple posts of the same thing. What's this ecosystem project you are talking about? What plants did you buy? If you want them to live make sure you have a good florescent light.
