Or anyone with an Eheim 2026. I've searched through the forums trying to find troubleshooting on this filter and gave up. Are there any pasts posts you can lead me to for information on this filter? The instructions that came with this seem so vague for a novice like me. Please help!!
I just bought one of these for my new 40 gal., set everything up and it's not working. It makes a lot of noise, no water is being sucked in through the intake and no water is spraying out of the spray bar.
I checked the canister to make sure it was full of water and it is. I also filled the intake hose from the cap on top of the intake unit with water like the instructions suggested.
What am I doing wrong?? Do I possibly have the hoses connected wrong? I connected the filter intake unit to the in-flow. I connected the spray bar to the out-flow. Is that right? Do I just need to let it run longer to get all the air bubbles out? I've let it run for about 5 minutes tops, then unplugged it, cuz I was afraid of burning it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
