Just a bit of advice please if some one can.

I was dismantling an old tank after moving my zebra danio's into a bigger one and found a little fry swimming about in it (cute but tiny little thing).

I caught him, popped him in a breeding net and transferred him to the bigger tank with the others.

He's now about 2cm big and doing well in his net, but i obviously want to release him with the others.

I have no idea how to go about it. He's still having fry food (crumpled flakes are still a bit tricky for him) I don't know how old he is or anything.

When do i release him? There's 6 other full grown danio's in the tank.

Hope someone can help

I generally release them when they are big enough to not be eaten by the other fish in the tank. They seem to do well once they are released, just give him a bit of the fry food for the first few days, but you will notice him taking on bigger pieces of food soon.
